  • 07/21/17 Jason Plumhoff Signs with Harrisburg City Islanders

    The Harrisburg City Islanders announced the signing of midfielder Jason Plumhoff for the remainder of the 2017 season.

    Plumhoff is returning to the Islanders after leaving the club following his rookie professional debut during the 2015 season. During his season with the City Islanders, Plumhoff appeared in 22 matches and led the entire team in scoring with 10 goals.

  • 07/18/17 Brandon Miller and Mouhamed Dabo Named to USL’s Team of the Week

    Two Harrisburg City Islanders were named to the USL’s Team of the Week after two back-to-back wins in Week 17 of the regular season. Harrisburg’s goalkeep Brandon Miller and midfielder Mouhamed Dabo were both recognized for their outstanding performances on the field last week.

  • 07/07/17 Pedro Ribeiro named USL Player of the Week

    On Tuesday, the USL released their Week 15 Team of the Week and Harrisburg’s Pedro Ribeiro headlined the nominees and earned Player of the Week as the main orchestrator in the City Islanders’ current two-game win streak.
    Ribeiro received 33 percent of votes conducted by a national panel of independent media representing every USL market.

  • 05/20/17 MATCH RECAP: Islanders Have Late Game Magic Again At Home

    After falling down by a goal in the second half the Islanders needed another last-second miracle at home to grab a point against the Charleston Battery at FNB Field on Saturday night.
    Harrisburg took the early lead off of a blistering shot by Rasheed Olabiyi before giving up two quick goals in the second half to a Charleston side that was playing with only 10 men.

    Harrisburg, PA (May 18, 2017) – The Harrisburg City Islanders have announced the addition of Rodolfo Correia to their coaching staff as the Islanders Assistant Coach for the 2017 season.
    Correia joins the Islanders coaching staff in 2017.

    Correia holds UEFA licenses along with experiences coaching and playing in major competitions throughout the world.

    Harrisburg, Pa (May 5, 2017) – The Harrisburg City Islanders have added another forward to their 2017 roster with the signing of Fredrick Yamoah Opoku from Ghana.

    Ribeiro Brings His Talent to Harrisburg Full-time in 2017
    Harrisburg, PA (April 14, 2017) – The Harrisburg City Islanders are pleased to welcome Pedro Ribeiro back in 2017. The midfielder represented the Islanders briefly during their last USL championship run in 2014.

    Harrisburg Defender Named to Team of the Week After Strong Play Against Previous Club
    Harrisburg, PA (April 11, 2017) – The United Soccer League today named Jamie Thomas to the USL Team of the Week. Thomas, a former New York Red Bull, faced the New York Red Bulls II last Wednesday aloingside his fellow Islanders and helped the team to a 1-0 defeat over the Harrisburg rival.

    Harrisburg, PA (March 6, 2017) – The Harrisburg City Islanders continue their preseason with a matchup against their Eastern Conference rival the New York Red Bulls II on Wednesday, March 8 at the New York Red Bulls Training Facility at 1 p.m.
