    HARRISBURG, PA (May 16, 2015) – The Harrisburg City Islanders (4-2-1) cruised to victory over the Charlotte Independence (2-3-2) after a pair of first half scores secured a 2-0 win. Skyline Sports Complex hosted 2,167 fans as the Islanders extended their unbeaten streak to five straight matches and remain undefeated at home.

    The Harrisburg City Islanders will end their longest road stint of the season against the New York Red Bulls II this Saturday, May 2 at 2 p.m. in Red Bulls Arena.
    Harrisburg was able to pick up their first road win of the season against Wilmington last week in their most impressive outing of the season. That was the third game in a row that the Islanders were able to collect points.

    Wilmington, NC – The Harrisburg City Islanders took a 4-0 victory over Wilmington Hammerheads FC at Legion Stadium on Saturday night. Kenny Tribbett scored his first two professional goals to lead Harrisburg to its second win of the season.
    Hammerheads forward Sunny Jane was quick on his feet to start the first half, and had an early shot that went wide.

    Harrisburg, PA- Harrisburg City Islanders have transferred forward Morgan Langley to St. Patrick’s Athletic FC, the club announced today.
    St. Patrick’s is an Irish football club, based in Inchicore, Dublin that plays in the Irish Premier Division.

    ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Rochester Rhinos played to a 2-2 draw with the Harrisburg City Islanders at Sahlen’s Stadium on Saturday night. Clesio Bauque scored both goals for visiting City Islanders, while Tony Walls opened the scoring for Rochester in the first half, and JC Banks scored the equalizer for the Rhinos in the second half.

    ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando City SC clinched a home game in the opening round of the USL PRO Playoffs as Darwin Ceren struck twice in a 3-1 victory against the Harrisburg City Islanders in front of a sold-out crowd at the ESPN Wide World of Sports on Saturday night.     (Harrisburg, PA) The Harrisburg City Islanders hosted MLS opponent, the New York Red Bulls reserve roster, on August 6th at Skyline Sports Complex. The Isles bested New York, winning by a profound 3-1 margin. The match was critical to their playoff push, despite the Red Bulls not being a USL PRO team, and after the win they moved forward to the 6th-place position in the league table.

    RICHMOND, Va. – The Richmond Kickers took all three points on Saturday night by defeating the visiting Harrisburg City Islanders 2-1. A penalty from Luke Vercollone, and a long free kick from Sascha Görres, were enough to see the Kickers through despite a late goal from Matt Bahner.

    WEST CARROLLTON, Ohio — The Harrisburg City Islanders took a 3-1 victory against the Dayton Dutch Lions FC on a very warm, muggy evening at DOC Stadium on Saturday. First-half goals by Garret Pettis and Jimmy McLaughlin put Harrisburg on top before Dayton’s Brock Granger responded with a goal from the penalty spot with 15 minutes to go.

  • 06/23/14 Isles Fall 0-1 vs. MLS Side Montreal

    MONTREAL – The Montreal Impact topped USL side Harrisburg City Islanders 1-0 on Friday afternoon, at Stade Saputo, in reserve league action. Midfielder Felipe scored the winning goal in the first half.
    Maxim Tissot, making a deep run down the left flank, played the ball back to the top of the box with a low cross, where Felipe sliced a one-timer to the far post in the 19th minute.

  • 06/19/14 Isles Fall to Union in Overtime, Eliminated from US Open Cup

    (Philadelphia, PA) The Harrisburg City Islanders run at the 2014 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup ended Tuesday night, June 17, at PPL Park.  They fell to their Major League Soccer affiliate, the Philadelphia Union, by a 3-1 margin.

    This fourth-round match of the US Open cup was an intense display from both clubs’ offenses as well as vigorous defensive play.

    (Harrisburg, PA)  On Saturday June 14, the Harrisburg City Islanders and Pittsburgh Riverhounds played to a 0-0 draw to close out the Keystone Derby. This third and final meeting of these teams took place at Skyline Sports Complex at 7pm in front of a crowd of 1,780.
    After an match full of extremely physical play, neither team could connect with the net to take the victory.
