    Harrisburg, PA (March 3, 2016) – Pettis returns to Harrisburg for his fourth year and is poised to produce a productive season on the pitch in 2016.
    Last season, Pettis dished-out one assist and scored 2 goals in 24 appearances. In 2014, he appeared in 23 matches for the Islanders, tallying 671 minutes on the pitch while netting three goals and dishing-out two assists.

    Harrisburg, PA (February 23, 2016) – Jose Maria Barril returns to the Islanders for his third season, after joining the team on a transfer from Real Madrid in 2014. Over the course of his time in Harrisburg, Barril has played 48 games, accruing 3,836 minutes, scoring 5 goals and setting up 8 assists. In 2015, he led the team in assists with 7, tied with Enric Valles and Jason Plumhoff.

    Club to play 10 matches at First National Bank Field in 2016

    Ekra signs with Charlotte after four seasons with Harrisburg
    Harrisburg, PA (December 15, 2015) – After four season with the Islanders, Yann Ekra has been signed by the Charlotte Independence. Ekra, a 25-year-old midfielder, spent the past four seasons with Harrisburg and was a free agent following the 2015 season when he was signed by Charlotte.

    Dear Fans and Partners,
    After falling to cross-state rival, the Pittsburgh Riverhounds 2-1 on September 19th, the Harrisburg City Islanders missed their chance at taking home the first-annual Keystone Derby Cup and failed to advance to the USL Playoffs for the first year since 2010.

  • 11/30/15 Goal of the Year Winner Announced

    Congratulations to Jason Plumhoff for winning the Harrisburg City Islanders’ 2015 Goal of the Year. Plumhoff’s goal was the game winner in the July 26th contest against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds.

    The match was a wild affair in which the Islanders began by going down 2-0 after the first 20 minutes.

  • 11/24/15 Harrisburg City Islanders Agree Terms with Valles for His Release

    Harrisburg, PA (November 24, 2015) – After one season with the club, Enric Valles has been released from the Harrisburg City Islanders.  The terms of the release were not disclosed.
    Valles was a staple in the Islanders midfield throughout the 2015 season, recording 2 goals and 6 assists.
