    TAMPA, Fla. – Harrisburg City Islanders midfielder Yann Ekra has been named to the USL Team of the Week for the 21st week of the 2015 season after he assisted and scored a goal to lead the City Islanders to a 3-2 victory against the Richmond Kickers.

    Harrisburg, PA (August 10, 2015) – After getting a huge win at home the Harrisburg City Islanders will look to keep pace with the playoff race against Louisville City FC this Wednesday, August 12 at 7 p.m.
    Harrisburg has been strong at home the season and will look to back up a win with another victory. This is something they haven’t been able to do in the past few months.

  • 08/08/15 Islanders Avenge Loss to Richmond in 3-2 Thriller

    Harrisburg, PA (August 8, 2015) – Islanders defeated the Richmond Kickers 3-2 in front of 2,492 fans at Skyline Sports Complex.
    This was their second meeting in two weeks. The first was hosted by Richmond and resulted in a 4-2 loss at City Stadium.

    Harrisburg, PA (August 3, 2015) – The Harrisburg City Islanders are pleased to announce the signing of Kyle McCord, Andrew Lubahn and Anthony Donatelli for the remainder of the 2015 season. Pending USSF approvals.
    Andrew Lubahn joins the Islanders for the 2015 season after a collegiate career at Wake Forest University and trial at Portland Timbers 2.

  • 08/05/15 MATCH PREVIEW: Isles host Kickers in last match of home-and-home series

    Harrisburg, PA (August 5, 2015) – The Harrisburg City Islanders hope that the friendly confines of Skyline Sports Complex will help them grab a win in the final game of a home-and-home series against the Richmond Kickers.
    Three second-half goals propelled the Kickers 4-2 over the Islanders in their last meeting in Richmond just a week ago.

  • 08/03/15 Islanders Sign Foster and Dyer

    Harrisburg, PA June- The Harrisburg City Islanders are pleased to announce the signing of forward Craig Foster and defender Shaquille Dyer.  The two were both key members of Jamaican teams and will join the Islanders for the 2015 season. Pending USSF approvals.
    In 2010, Foster scored 15 league goals for Reno FC and voted Jamaica Premier League Player of the Year in 2010/11.

  • 08/03/15 Benbow called up to Jamaica U23 National Team

    Islanders’ Cardel Benbow has been called up to the Jamaica National U23 Olympic Team.  He will be playing in the second stage of the Olympic Qualifying tournament matches in Haiti from August 12 to 17, 2015.  He will attend the training camp and make himself available for selection to the final traveling delegation selected by the coach.

  • 08/01/15 MATCH REPORT: Islanders Fall to Kickers 4-2

    USL Game Report (Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015)
    RICHMOND, Va. – In an ending that was filled with late minute dramatics, the Richmond Kickers picked up three crucial points, beating the Harrisburg City Islanders 4-2 at City Stadium.
    George Davis IV scored the game-winning goal in the 88th minute and Jason Yeisley scored his second goal in the 90th to put the match away.

  • 07/29/15 Islanders Kickoff Home-and-Home Series vs. Richmond Saturday

    Harrisburg, PA (July 29, 2015) – The Harrisburg City Islanders will go into City Stadium this Saturday to face the Richmond Kickers in another home-and-home series with a chance to jump right back into the playoff picture.
    City’s thrilling 4-3 win against Pittsburgh in their last game put them in a tie with their cross-state rival with 25 points.

    TAMPA, Fla. – Harrisburg City Islanders midfielder Jason Plumhoff has been voted the USL Player of the Week for the 19th week of the 2015 season after he scored a pair of goals, including a stoppage-time winner, to lead the 10-man City Islanders to a 4-3 comeback victory against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds.

  • 07/26/15 Islanders Find First Win Against Pittsburgh in Classic Keystone Derby Fashion

    Harrisburg, PA (July 26, 2015) – The Harrisburg City Islanders got their first win in the Keystone Derby this season after finding themselves a man down and trailing 3-1 with less than 30 minutes to play.
    Craig Foster and Jason Plumhoff each scored two goals in the comeback including Plumhoff’s game-winning blast that hit off the inside of the post to give the Islanders the 4-3 win.

    Harrisburg, PA (July 12, 2015) – Philadelphia Union announced today that the club has loaned two players to the team’s official USL affiliate, Harrisburg City Islanders, for their final match in their home-and-home series against the New York Red Bulls II on Saturday, July 18, 2015. Forwards Jimmy McLaughlin and Antoine Hoppenot will join the City Islanders for their USL match tonight.

    Harrisburg, PA (July 16, 2015) – Following a win on the road, the Harrisburg City Islanders will return home to face the New York Red Bulls II this Saturday in the back end of a home-and-home series with three important points on the line.

    HARRISON, N.J. – The Harrisburg City Islanders tallied a goal on either side of the half and defeated the New York Red Bulls II 2-0 on Sunday at Red Bull Arena.
    Craig Foster struck in the 23rd minute and Enric Valles converted an 88th-minute penalty kick to seal three road points for Harrisburg.

    Harrisburg, PA (July 8, 2015) – The Harrisburg City Islanders suffered their first league loss of the season on City Island in a 4-0 handling by the Charleston Battery.
    From the opening kick-off it was a replay of the last meeting between these two teams. Charleston scored early and often against the Islanders.

    Philadelphia Union announced today that the club has loaned two players to the team’s official USL affiliate, Harrisburg City Islanders, for their match against the Charleston Battery on Wednesday, July 8, 2015. Forwards Jimmy McLaughlin and Antoine Hoppenot will join the City Islanders for their USL rematch tonight.
    McLaughlin returns to Harrisburg for his fourth season with the Islanders.

    USL News Release, Tuesday, July 7, 2015 – Islanders forward, Cardel Benbow, was named to the USL Team of the Week following an impressive performance against Wilmington.  Benbow worked hard all game and was rewarded with a late winner in a 1-0 victory on July 4th.

  • 07/06/15 Islanders Focused on Charleston Rematch July 8

    Harrisburg, PA (July 6,2015) –  The Harrisburg City Islanders will have a lot of work to do to keep their undefeated record intact at home when they take on the Charleston Battery, the second best team in the east this Wednesday, July 8 at 7 p.m.
    It will be the second meeting in less than two weeks and the third meeting overall for the two teams.

  • 07/04/15 Benbow Keeps Islanders Undefeated at Skyline

    The Harrisburg City Islanders got a 1-0 win against the Wilmington Hammerheads on a late Cardel Benbow goal, which gave the Islanders their first victory in almost two months.
    Benbow’s speed and skill had been frustrating the Wilmington defense all night but he had just enough left to blow passed the defender after he received a ball from Jason Plumhoff on a breakout.
