Physical Defender Returns to Harrisburg for 2014 USL PRO Season
(HARRISURG, PA)-The Harrisburg City Islanders PRO team is thrilled to announce the re-signing of Defender, Coady Andrews. After a terrific rookie campaign in 2013, Andrews returns to the Isles as a key member of the defensive unit.
The 6-foot-3, 200-pound defender began his professional career with the Isles in 2013. During his rookie season with the Isles, Andrews registered two-goals and one-assist. He respectfully led all field players in matches played at 26, and playing time at 2,340 minutes on the pitch.
Prior to his time with the Islanders, Andrews was a standout defender for the University of Missouri-Kansas City. While at UMKC, Andrews was selected as an all-conference performer. The Missouri native has also competed in the Major Indoor Soccer League with the Missouri Comets.

With the 2014 USL PRO season right around the corner, the Islanders are preparing for another competitive and exciting season in the USL PRO. The Isles will kick-off their 2014 campaign on April 5th against the Hammerheads in Wilmington, NC. Home opener is slated for April 19th against the Dayton Dutch Lions at the Skyline Sports Complex in Harrisburg. Season tickets and group packages are on sale now.
