Islanders Re-Sign Midfielder Matthew Bahner

 Aggressive Midfielder Returns to Isles for 2014 USL PRO Season

(HARRISURG, PA)-The Harrisburg City Islanders PRO team is excited to announce the re-signing of Midfielder, Matthew Bahner.  Bahner will return to the Isles for the 2014 USL PRO season after a terrific rookie campaign in 2013.

The 6-foot, 170-pound midfielder began his professional career with the Isles in 2013. During his rookie season with the Isles, Bahner netted one-goal and dished out two-assists, playing in 24 matches and tallying 1152 minutes on the pitch.

Prior to his time with the Islanders, Bahner was a four-year starter for the University of Cincinnati.  The Ohio native started in 65 matches and posted 13 goals and 9 assists during his four years with the Bearcats.
