The Harrisburg City Islanders professional soccer team completed a very successful inaugural season in 2004. The team bested all anticipated performances both on and off the field and is looking to build upon that early success in their 2005 campaign to win the USL Second Division Championship in front of even more fans! 2004 Season in Review3 Sellouts Averaged 1,581 fans per game (72% of capacity) A first season playoff appearance 17 players named to “Pro Soccer League Teams of the Week” Derek Potteiger named to the “Pro Soccer League All-League Team” The City Islanders play all of their home games at Skyline Sports Complex on City Island, in downtown Harrisburg. The season runs from mid April through late August and consists of 10 regular season home games. The goals of the organization are to create an unrivaled sports entertainment experience for our fans, deliver unprecedented results for our business partners, and provide a highly professional atmosphere for our players. We are playing to win both on and off the field! The City Islanders offer a variety of partnerships for businesses of all sizes, which may include season tickets, print advertising, fan promotions and in-stadium advertising, among other things. There are over 60,000 registered soccer participants in Central Pennsylvania and we want to get your company's message in front of them.
