Now in her seventh year with the club and second year as General Manager, Kierstin Rowe has a hand in every aspect of the City Islanders’ operations. She is at the forefront of most of the team’s sales and marketing initiatives, maintains a portfolio of corporate partnership agreements, and supervises numerous administrative matters and gameday operations. She joined the team at its inception as Director of Marketing & Operations.
Her contributions have helped earn the City Islanders two prestigious USL Second Division awards: the Marketing Excellence Award (2004) and Organization of the Year Award (2005). In 2009, she was instrumental in organizing a highly successful exhibition match against English club Crystal Palace FC which drew over 5,000 to Clipper Magazine Stadium in Lancaster, PA. This past offseason, she helped orchestrate an exclusive affiliation with Philadelphia Union of Major League Soccer.
Rowe played her club soccer with the Lower Dauphin Soccer Association and was a four-year varsity player at Lower Dauphin High School. She graduated in 2003 from Elizabethtown College, where she played all four years for the women’s soccer team. While at Elizabethtown, Rowe earned a Business Management degree and spent time studying abroad at the Cheltenham and Gloucester College of Higher Education in England. Kierstin has coached numerous area soccer camps and youth teams. The 29-year-old resides in Harrisburg.
