    CINCINNATI – FC Cincinnati earned its third consecutive league victory with a 3-0 win against the Harrisburg City Islanders in front of a crowd of 18,334 at Nippert Stadium on Saturday night after two lightning delays – one in either half – delayed proceedings.

  • Jason Plumhoff Signs with Harrisburg City Islanders

    The Harrisburg City Islanders announced the signing of midfielder Jason Plumhoff for the remainder of the 2017 season.

    Plumhoff is returning to the Islanders after leaving the club following his rookie professional debut during the 2015 season. During his season with the City Islanders, Plumhoff appeared in 22 matches and led the entire team in scoring with 10 goals.

  • MATCH RECAP: Islanders Continue Undefeated Streak At Home

    The Harrisburg City Islanders stretched their undefeated streak to three games with a 1-1 draw against the Charlotte Independence on Tuesday night at FNB Field.
    Harrisburg grabbed the lead early in the match from Ropapa Mensah’s second goal in as many games off a floating, direct pass from John Grosh who had just been substituted on.

  • Brandon Miller and Mouhamed Dabo Named to USL’s Team of the Week

    Two Harrisburg City Islanders were named to the USL’s Team of the Week after two back-to-back wins in Week 17 of the regular season. Harrisburg’s goalkeep Brandon Miller and midfielder Mouhamed Dabo were both recognized for their outstanding performances on the field last week.

  • MATCH PREVIEW: Islanders Face Charlotte Independence, July 18

    The Harrisburg City Islanders wrap up their three game homestand with a matchup against the Charlotte Independence at FNB Field on Tuesday, July 18 at 7 p.m.

    Harrisburg is on a roll in the last few games and has won four of their last five matches.

  • MATCH RECAP: Islanders Win Second Straight At Home

    The Harrisburg City Islanders were able to grab a late goal to get their second win in a row and fourth in five games in a 1-0 match against the Richmond Kickers on Saturday night.
    The two long-time USL rivals played a physical defensive game for the majority of the match. Neither team was able to find the final quality to put any challenge on the opposing goalkeeper.

  • MATCH RECAP: Islanders Take 2-0 Win Against New York Red Bulls II

    Although the Harrisburg City Islanders were without their leading scorer they were able to find their offense early and lean on their strong defense late to take a 2-0 win on Tuesday night against the New York Red Bulls II.
    Without Ribeiro in the lineup, the Islanders relied on a starting lineup that saw Paul Wilson and Cardel Benbow getting their first start together in a few matches.
