Position: Player Liaison Officer
The Harrisburg City Islanders welcome Austin Siodlowski as their new Player Liasion Officer for the 2017 season.
Siodlowski comes to the Islanders with a wealth of experience from the Harrisburg area to around the globe. He has been a coach for local high schools like Lower Dauphin and Bishop McDevitt, and has coached internationally in Malaysia, Australia, and England.
Along with working for the Islanders, Siodlowski currently serves as the Technical Director for 9 to 12-year-old players at LDC United and the Lower Dauphin Soccer Association.
His latest coaching experience came during his six years as the head coach and Director of the Girls Soccer Program at Bishop McDevitt High School. While at Bishop McDevitt, he was named two-time Mid-Penn Coach of the Year (2012 and 2009) with a final record of 78-37-4. He helped lead his girls’ team to the 2012 Mid-Penn AA District III Championship and a quarterfinal spot in the state tournament.
Siodlowski’s education includes a degree from Penn State University in Information Sciences and Technology. He earned three coaching diplomas from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, including a Director of Coach diploma in 2012. He furthered his coaching education when he earned his Advanced Director of Coaching diploma from Delaware University.
