MATCH PREVIEW: Harrisburg City Islanders v Ottawa Fury FC

The Harrisburg City Islanders will look to keep their season alive when they take on the Ottawa Fury FC at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 27 at FNB Field.

With only three games remaining on the schedule, the Harrisburg City Islanders look to make a final push to grab one of the last spots in the USL Playoffs.

Harrisburg was able to get a crucial three points in their last outing with a 2-1 win against Toronto FC II. The Islanders are also undefeated in their last three matches with a total of seven points.

The Islanders are currently in 13th place in the Eastern Conference but are only out of the playoffs by seven points.

Ottawa, is just above the Islanders with 33 points and a win would vault Harrisburg at least one spot closer to getting into the playoffs.

Ottawa has played to a draw in their last five games, including a 1-1 draw with the top team in the league, Louisville City FC, and have not failed to score in those matches.

The good news for Harrisburg is that they are as healthy as they have been all season. Aaron Wheeler made his return to the pitch in the last game and the rest of the team is clicking. From midfielders like Paul Wilson to their goalkeepers Brandon Miller, the team has been gaining traction.

The Islanders are playing their best soccer at the right time of the season. The team is in a perfect position to get as many points as possible before the end of the season with two games left at home and one on the road.

Harrisburg has only dropped two games at home but got their first win at FNB Field in over a month with the rally against Toronto FC II.

If Harrisburg can pull off a win, their final home match is going to be key, as they need to win the rest of their matches to crack the top half of the table.
