Harrisburg City Islanders

The Harrisburg City Islanders are a professional outdoor soccer team located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Currently participating in the USL PRO, the Islanders' home pitch is located on Harrisburg's City Island Skyline Sports Complex. The Islanders' season runs from April to August. Founded in 2004, the Islanders have had a winning record and went to the playoffs in 8 of their last 10 seasons. In 2011 the Islanders were National Division Champions and Finalist in the 2011 USL PRO Championship. In 2007, Islanders won the USL Second Division Championship and defeated MLS' DC United in the Lamar Hunt Open Cup. The Islanders are exclusive partners with the Philadelphia Union (of Major League Soccer.) In addition to the professional squad, the City Islanders Academy fields youth teams for boys and girls ages 9-20. The City Islanders Academy is dedicated to player development in Central, Pennsylvania. The premier level Academy teams participate in the nationally recognized Y-League.
